  1. Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Pune:

I got an opportunity to serve one of the best private engineering colleges in Maharashtra as its head in 1999. It had excellent students and faculty. It was not however accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). After discussing with the management and faculty it was decided to apply for the same. It had few short comings such as faculty cadre, number of class rooms, laboratory, library, work-shop etc. though the number of faculty and total floor area was as per the norms of AICTE. It was a herculean task.  Some faculty could not be promoted due to lack of PG degree. Upon enquiry it was found that most of faculty had completed their PG but did not submit their dissertation reports. The concerned were requested to do the needful. Within couple of months they were granted PG degrees. Then I had to request the University for advertizement and subsequent approval of Asstt, Prof. and Professor. After completing the due formalities faculty cadre fulfilled the AICTE norms.  Next challenge was to rearrange the academic area requiring lot of civil work and rearrange them. I am good at Autocad and civil engineering. I designed all floor plans, library, laboratories, work-shop and furniture. The necessary modifications were duly done and infrastructure was made ready for NBA inspection. Vision and Mission statements were thought of and finalized. It was presented for the necessary assessment to NBA team and institute was approved and granted the accreditation within one year and became the first private engineering college accredited in Maharashtra. The credit goes to the cooperation of management, faculty, students, parents and industry. The intake capacity was to be increased so I designed the floor plan for increased space in the existing building.

Prof. Ram Meghe Institute of Technology and Research, Amravati.

I became the principal of College of Engineering, Badnera in year 2002. I changed the name of the college and applied for accreditation by NBA. I encouraged the faculty to go in for research and PhD. I changed the floor plans, made Vision and Mission statement, incorporated faculty cadre as per AICTE norms. The necessary modifications were duly done and infrastructure was made ready for NBA inspection. It was presented for the necessary assessment to NBA team within two year and institute was approved and granted the accreditation and became the private engineering college accredited in Amravati Maharashtra. The credit goes to the cooperation of management, faculty, students, parents, and industry. A new administrative building comprising state of the art Library, computer engineering, Information Technology, MBA and MCA was designed and constructed in house by our civil engineering department in record time. An open auditorium, canteen were also designed and constructed. A full time dispensary with medical officer was made available for incumbents. PG courses in Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical, Civil, Computer and IT were started. The intake capacity was increased from 420 to 1300 in a short span of time. Fees collection increased by 10 fold. Ours was the first college in Maharashtra to have implemented 6th pay. The institute applied and was granted accreditation by NBA for the second term.

A new engineering college was proposed by me to the management in January 2008 since there was good demand and society had enough land. After getting the nod, our team comprising Prof. Pramod Bokey and Registrar Mr. Bhagat started exploring the resources.  Existing defund infrastructure was converted in to a new college building for first year admissions. A new building plan was prepared by me for for construction in phased manner. All laboratory equipments, library and work-shop equipments, furniture were ordered. And within 4 months the new college was made ready for AICTE inspection. It got the requisite permission from the competent authorities and college named as Prof. Ram Meghe college of Engineering and Management, started admission in 2008 itself. This was a record by itself!

Dr. Rajendra Gode Institute of Technology and Research, Amravati.

I became the director of IBSS College of Engineering, Amravati in year 2016. I changed the name of the college. I made Vision and Mission statements.  I changed the floor plan and included a spacious computer laboratory. I started an incubation centre. I established micro-electronics design laboratory for advanced micro circuit designs.  A full time dispensary with medical officer was made available for incumbents. PG courses in Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical, Civil, and Computer were started. Indoor auditorium was designed and incorporated.

Other than engineering college I was responsible for polytechnic.

I proposed to start Ayurvedic Medical College and Pharmaceutical College in the same premises. I designed the building plan of Pharmaceutical College. Both colleges were granted permission and started admitting students in 2018.
